Yes, for both parties it seems. I'm sure your clients appreciate your enthusiasm that this is exciting for you, also, and it's not just a job.

Well, it's a job but it's a fun job. I take a lot of pride in creating something that's special for both people. You have to be really on your toes whenever somebody walks through the door. No matter what they say on the phone, there is always that moment where you need to kind of pick up their vibration and find out what the tone of that session is really going to be.

Tell me a bit about your smothering techniques?

I do it in several ways. I like hand-held smothering. I particularly like to use leather gloves because they feel very slick against the face. There's kind of a policewoman fantasy, Nazi thing -- as though they are being held prisoner. I also like the glove because I sometimes use my finger as a gag. I slip a finger into the mouth while I'm holding the head. The feeling of fullness on the tongue inside of the mouth is erotic and again it's penetration without sex. I also use my stomach or I sit on people. I do wrestling, as well, where I like to feel them kind of be immobilized by my own body, again that whole idea of body contact, very snakelike, very intimate. Anastasia: Can you tell me a little bit about the Service of Mankind Church and it's devotion to the worship of the superior female?

Athena: I love that line. The organization seemed a perfect match for me and my personal mission. I was hoping to kind of be an emissary for them, to be somebody who could mentor some younger people into the organization. Initially, they were interested in doing something like Other World Kingdom here on the West Coast which is sort of a commune, goddess worship church for lifestylers. The thing that really drew me to them was the whole idea of high priestess and invocation of the goddess. I thought that they would have this organized idea of how you became a priestess and how you implemented it. They have rituals and exercises for new submissives in the church, where they go through the trials such as a night in chains, flagellation, or ritual whipping. I'm looking for feminine power whether it's through domination or submission. I don't have a problem with a female submissive. I truly respect any submissive. It's not necessarily about females as superior beings. It's about using your female power and making the most of it.

I also write for their publication. I wrote a piece about my first encounter with my real lifestyle slave Talos where I had him wash my feet in public. It was really prophetic in terms of how our relationship would progress. I've had him for three years now.

So in the three years that you've been involved in BD/SM is there any particular scene that really stands out for you? --An experience that pushed you to a higher level personally and professionally?

There was one in particular where I was supposed to be a devil, a temptress from hell. I was to seduce the Pope. During the scene, one of the things that I made him do was to tell me that my thighs tasted better than the sacrament. I made him really concentrate on that one. (laughs) I had another scene where I was doing really heavy whipping. After each stroke my victim, if you can call him that, would say, "Bless you, Goddess" in this really breathy voice. That was bells for me. I loved it. Now I encourage people to say those words, because it really encourages me to really focus my energy toward that person.
